This is a painting that I did for my boyfriend who is part of a farming family here in Iowa.

I have had a passion for drawing and painting since a very young age. This has meshed well also with my love for horses and passion for the rodeo lifestyle. Though I haven’t painted in a while, this is a recent drawing I did for a friend of her gritty barrel horse stretched out running home from third. A lot of time went into this sketch and I thank you for the opportunity to share my art!

This is a photo taken of me and my horse in the Painted Canyon of Teddy Roosevelt National Forest in Medora, North Dakota.

I’ve served on 3 deployments in the U.S Marine Infantry. I’m currently a law enforcement officer for 4 years in PA. I’ve been through a lot and seen a lot. Many relationships never lasted due to my career paths and also my trauma from doing those jobs. My current girlfriend came out of no where when I was at my lowest. She is the only person who wants to understand my past. She doesn’t judge and instead sticks by my side and lets me open up about things I never have before. She’s been an absolute blessing in my life and honestly… she saved me. We always saint the Painter will be our wedding song. Cody I can’t thank you enough for your support towards the military and LE. Many don’t see the sacrifices that are made daily and the trauma that comes with it so thank you.

This is a photo I captured a few years before my grandpa passed away. He passed in 2021 to lung cancer and this photo he absolutely loved and wanted a print of it but I didn’t get printed but each time I look at it, it reminds me of him and now he gets to have all the amazing sunsets each night in heaven.
