“The Painter” Gallery Wall
- Shared by Bethany BriggsThis artwork is titled "Roo". It is a painting of my grandpa's dog Spike who we called Roo. Unfortunately, they both passed away. I'm a dog portrait artist and I wanted to paint him and add something that reminded me of my grandpa. He had love and passion for growing hibiscus in the front yard and this is one of the things I miss most. When I see pink hibiscus, they remind me of him, so I put them in two of the corners of this painting. This painting was selected for Youth Art Month and placed in the Bullock Museum is Austin Texas for the whole month of March.
